Podiatrist

Janine, our Watling Street Primary Care Network Podiatrist involves diagnosing, treating, and managing complex foot problems that arise as a result of musculoskeletal, inflammatory, diabetic or vascular disease.

Janine can also offer minor surgery for ingrowing toenails and can also perform acupuncture for many foot conditions.

Podiatrists are placed to use their expertise in primary care settings by developing and embedding services that extend the ability of GPs and primary care teams to provide a focus on prevention and early intervention.

The benefit of having a Podiatrist in our PCN include:
  • Reduced waiting times
  • Free up GP appointments
  • Better communication within primary care; assessments can be directly documented within patients notes, rather than waiting potentially weeks for a clinic letter to be sent for further management
  • Improved patient satisfaction related to shorter waiting times and reduced likelihood of hospital visits
If you would like to book an appointment with our Podiatrist, please contact your GP practice who will be able to advise you on how to be referred.
